Serve on the Canyonettes Board
The Canyonettes Golf Club is successful because members volunteer their time, talents, and ideas to help create the fun, organized, and welcoming league we all enjoy.
As we prepare for the 2027 season, we are seeking members interested in serving on the Canyonettes Board. Whether you've been a member for years or recently joined, we encourage you to consider becoming involved.
No previous board experience is required. Current board members will provide training, support, and a smooth transition into each role.
Current Open Positions
Vice President / President-Elect
The Vice President supports the President and serves as backup when needed. This position also assists with club communications and other board projects. After serving one year as Vice President, the individual becomes President for the following year.
GHIN / Membership Chair
The GHIN/Membership Chair oversees membership records, assists with the registration process, coordinates membership information, and serves as the primary resource for GHIN and Golf Genius questions. This role also assists with league email communications and competition-related inquiries.
Communications Chair (or Co-Chairs)
The Communications Chair is responsible for member communications, maintaining the Canyonettes website, posting newsletters and announcements, assisting with member inquiries, and recording board meeting minutes.
Events Chair
The Events Chair coordinates weekly games, tournaments, and special events. This role works closely with the Board to organize activities, manage prizes and awards, and help ensure members stay informed about league events.
